“I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Actron Air. My ducted reverse cycle unit, installed in my newly built home just a year ago, failed in the middle of winter. Despite the urgency, the earliest available service appointment was 15 days away. In contrast, the previous brand I used in my last home consistently provided service within 3 business days. This level of delay is unacceptable for what is essentially a critical household system. If Actron cannot establish a reliable service network to support its customers, it should seriously reconsider offering such essential products to the public. I also take issue with the constant reminders, both on calls and in emails, warning customers not to abuse or disrespect staff. This suggests the problem lies with frustrated customers, when in fact, it reflects a failure in management and after-sales support. That said, the customer service staff and technicians I dealt with were professional and courteous. It was clear, however, that they were just as limited and frustrated—unable to provide meaningful assistance due to internal constraints. After spending $22,000 on this system just last year (was dearest than all other choices), I have now been forced to install two backup split systems in case of emergency —one in the bedroom and another in the family room—just to maintain basic comfort for my family. This is entirely unreasonable and defeats the purpose of such a significant investment. During the 15-day wait, both of my young children fell sick due to the lack of proper heating. I urge anyone considering Actron Air to think twice. Product specifications mean very little if the company cannot deliver reliable service when it matters most. Service reliability should be a deciding factor in your purchase decision. I hope this review helps others make a more informed choice—one I wish I had made myself.”

“Worst product in the house! There was a power outage and the power was back within 30 seconds. AC started but it wasn’t blowing cooling air. What sort of delicate product is that, that it cannot even bear a power normal power outage. Additionally- Worst customer service ever! Called on Monday and I have been notified that the technician will call you in 2-4 business days. My wife called them today, which is Thursday and they said 2-4 business days again. It’s extremely hot in Melbourne these days, they don’t even care to be on their words. We also told them to prioritize it, since my wife is expecting. Guess what!! they repeated their favorite line (2 to 4 business days) Never gonna go with a builder who is using Actron Air as their supplier.”

“I was initially surprised by the number of negative reviews and the low rating, but now I completely understand why. I purchased an ActronAir reverse-cycle air conditioning system less than three years ago. Last week, my tenant informed me that the system was displaying an error message and not blowing cold air. I contacted ActronAir immediately, and they assured me I would receive an email with details of a technician visit. After four days without any email, I called them again, only to be told they were extremely busy and that it would take time. After multiple follow-ups, they finally scheduled a technician—eight days later! I explained that my tenant was frustrated due to the ongoing heatwave (30°C+ temperatures) and might claim compensation, but this did not seem to concern them at all. It's unacceptable that a system barely two years old would fail, and even more frustrating that it takes nearly two weeks just to get someone to inspect it. To make matters worse, the customer service experience was appalling. The representative I spoke to (Katrina) was unhelpful, dismissive, and at times, outright rude. She showed little understanding of customer service, and at one point, I noticed she wasn’t even listening—turning the phone away so she couldn’t hear me. This level of service is completely unacceptable. ActronAir needs to seriously improve both the reliability of its products and the responsiveness of its customer support.”
