“After two years, we had Mark back again for some more electrical work at our home and he is still every bit as brilliant as we remembered.
This time we needed him to assess our switchboard before purchasing an induction cooktop, to confirm whether it was good to go or needed an upgrade. While he was here, he also replaced a few dodgy power points. Mark’s communication is excellent. He kept us updated and let us know when he was on the way, so we knew exactly when to expect him.
He swapped over the faulty power points quickly and professionally, then completed a thorough switchboard review. He even labelled and named circuits that a previous electrician hadn’t bothered to do, which was genuinely appreciated. Mark took the time to clearly explain how everything worked, what our available power budget was, and he walked us through the option of upgrading to three-phase, including a rough cost estimate, without any pressure. Just honest, practical advice.
Feeling confident after his assessment, we went ahead and bought the induction cooktop and booked Mark back in for the installation. This is where I made things difficult. I messed up my measurements and turned what should have been a straightforward job into something far more complicated. Mark handled it like an absolute pro. He quickly identified the issue, did a run to the shops to grab what was needed, and then stayed well past dinner time to finish the job properly.
And the thing is, he didn’t have to stay. He absolutely could have said, “No worries, I’ll come back another day to complete it,” and that would have been completely fine. Instead, he chose to push through and get it sorted then and there, with a great attitude and zero fuss.
